12/28/17 UPDATE: This class is now full. We are working to schedule a February Naloxone class. Please subscribe to our newsletter if you wish to be informed of upcoming opportunities.
Webster Health and Education Network is pleased to present Naloxone Training at the Webster Public Library on Jan 30th at 7PM through UR Medicine CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics). While our primary goal is the prevention of chemical use, we recognize that Naloxone can offer people a critical second chance for recovery.
Naloxone is a prescription medicine that reverses an overdose and blocks the effects of opioids. Participants will leave this 1-hour class with an overdose reversal kit, and the training necessary to save the life of a suspected opioid/heroin overdose patient using a nasal spray.

WHEN is coupling this effort with the distribution of local treatment information, in hopes that those revived will seek the necessary help to recover their lives. For more information, contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
